45 cm — Collarbone. The everyday sweet spot.
50 cm — Just below the collarbone. Best for pendants.
55 cm — Mid-chest. Layers perfectly over shorter chains.
60 cm+ — Long drop. Statement or under a tee.
Layer note — For a two-chain stack, keep a 4–5 cm difference between lengths. Not sure where to start? 45 cm is where most people live.
